Android 2.0で僕たちは難しい岐路に立たされた。たったの一機種を誰にでも薦めてればいい、という超簡単で楽な時代は終わった。これからは、人を見て、薦める機種を決めなければならない。親愛なるTechCrunchの読者なら、iPhoneよりもDroidを薦めたい。しかし、読者のお父さんやお母さんや小さな妹なら、Droidはノーだ。とにかく、簡単に使えて、やりたいことができればいい、Appleの偏屈な社風なんかどうでもいい、オープンでもクローズでもどっちでもいい、…という人なら迷わずiPhoneだ。柔軟性のベースにある複雑性を我慢できる人、システムや機械類をいじくるのがニガテでない人なら、文句なしにDroidだ。でも、正直に言うと、誰がどっちを選んでも、その人は必ず幸福感に満たされると思うけどね。
